In last yers, the workplace safety has been focused on more closely and this has increased the delivery amounts of our SAFETY-products. The amonts have trippled in the last 3 years. The SAFETY low voltage products are used for example for maintenance purposes in offshore- and process industry.

The shipyards and the subcontractors for the shipbuilding industry are the main users of Megalight- worksite lighting systems
|

|
The main users of our produts are the shipyards and their subcontractors. Megalight-worklights are designed to to whithstand the extreme working conditions at the shipyards and also the maintenance of the lamps is made as effortless as possible. Therefore the lifetime of the Megalight-products is long and the overall costs for the customer remain low. This is why the Megalight Systems is more and more often chosen as the temporary worksite lightinfg system on the shipyards.
Megalight-lamps are using PL-type fluorescent tubes. Therefore they are also energy efficient. For example construction time lighting of a large cruise ship requires in average 5000 lamps, so the savings in the energy costs can be very significant.
The illumination of the production facilities of Aker Yards in Finland and Technip Ofshore Finland is predominantly set up using Megalight lighting systems. This has resulted in providing the shipyards safe and durable illumination levels at low power consumption. It has helped to save hundreds and thousands of euros in energy and maintenance as well as in accessory equipment costs. In addition to the 230 VAC system the shipyards also use lighting units of the 42 VAC protected voltage system.
Other users of our lighting appliances are, inter alia: Finnair, Riga Shipyard, Hollming Works, Marine Alutec, Fortum, power plants and paper mills, etc. For more information about referencies, please contact Megalight Systems Ltd.
